I had a conference at Monterrey with Mexican Ambassador to Washington who is en route to that city. He stated that on the previous day he had talked 4 hours with President Cárdenas and discussed agrarian and church and other important questions. He feels that the situation as to each is in much better condition and he thinks more satisfactory. He will reach Washington about the middle of the week.
