Sir: There are transmitted herewith copies of two letters dated September 17 and 18, 1935,25 received from the Foreign Bondholders Protective Council, Incorporated, stating that no reply has been received to its telegraphic inquiry to the Argentine Minister of Finance of August 23 and September 6, copies of which were transmitted to you.
You are authorized in your discretion to make informal inquiry of the Argentine Minister for Foreign Affairs as to when the Council may expect an answer to the questions set forth in its two telegrams above referred to.
