Referring to Department’s telegram No. 109, July 24, 6 p.m., local representative of Bemberg and Company, who are intermediaries in loan matter, advises the Embassy that he understands that complaint of discrimination by the Foreign Bondholders Protective Council has been withdrawn and that negotiations are continuing directly between the interested parties. Please reply by telegraph if further action is desired.
