27. Your Nos. 37, January 26, noon, and 47, January 29, 5 p.m. The Department concurs in your proposed reply to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Department’s position in regard to the transportation of Government troops as set forth in its No. 358, October 27, 1933, 4 p.m.77 remains unchanged. The Department also concurs in the view expressed in the last sentence of your telegram No. 47, January 29, 5 p.m. and considers that the Legation should not inform American companies of the contents of the Foreign Office note.
