45. Embassy’s 42, October 10, 11 a.m. Following telegram has been received from Judge of the United States Court for China.
“I fully concur in proposed statement to be issued by Adams and request that you instruct him to make it. With reference to the Department’s message to you let me inform you that in a regular judicial proceeding in another case several months ago this Court made a similar ruling and jurisdiction for lack of substantial American interest but the case received no publicity. I think the views of Governor of Nevada will not be helpful.”
Embassy is instructing Adams to issue statement in question.
