4. Firestone had his first conference with the President March 5. It was merely a courtesy call and there was no discussion of current problems. Next conference will be March 11 when supplementary agreement10 will be taken up.

Strongly organized opposition party held national convention yesterday when ex-President King was unanimously chosen to run against Barclay.
