You may feel it desirable to inform the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the contents of this instruction. Please reiterate to him the deep satisfaction of this Government occasioned by the effective cooperation between Brazil and the United States throughout the course of these negotiations and the gratification which this Government has been occasioned by the assurances conveyed through you that the Government of Brazil will determine upon a policy similar to that of the United States with regard to the Chaco problem.
