41. Following from American Consul General at Harbin,

“January 11, 3 p.m.

1.
January 9th. General Lin68 crossed border to Iman where interned by Soviet military. Japanese military have demanded his return. They now possess Muling coal mines also Mishan.
2.
January 8th Suifenho garrison took oath of allegiance to Manchukuo.
3.
Japanese operations are continuing against General Wang Teh-lin reported to be at Tungning.
4.
Whereabouts General Ting Chao unknown to this office.
5.
I leave this afternoon for Manchuli.”
