Referring to my despatch No. 8294 of May 27, 1932,16 concerning application of Harold Isaacs for registration of Searchlight Publishing Company, Mayor of municipality of Shanghai has informed this office that he has received orders from Commission of Military Affairs to investigate and prohibit publication of China Forum. Mayor requests this Consulate General to take action accordingly.
