The Chinese Assessor to the League of Nations Manchuria Inquiry Commission3

A message from the Chinese Assessor to the League of Nations Manchuria Inquiry Commission in Mukden stated:

The Chinese Assessor and his Staff have been completely isolated and under strict surveillance by Japanese police agents in Mukden. All Chinese were forbidden to approach or communicate with the Chinese Delegation. Several Chinese were arrested for trying to call on the Chinese Delegation members. Two arrests were eye-witnessed by Edward Hunter of the International News Service.
