Senate, subject to understandings, June 19 (legislative day of June 15),
1936; it was ratified by the President, subject to said understandings, July
7, 1936; ratification of the United States was deposited at London, August
7, 1936; and the convention was proclaimed by the President, September 30,
1936. For amendment of the convention, proclaimed by the President,
