48. After numerous conferences with King and Prime Minister, I have succeeded in inducing them to approve naturalization treaty as submitted by the Department with modifications authorized in the Department’s telegram No. 10 of April 14th. I am informed today by the Prime Minister that Council of Ministers has finally approved the treaty which will be ready for signature within a few days. If the Department will give me telegraphic authorization stating that full powers are being sent the treaty may be signed without delay.
