I would like to know when France will expect to get back from the Bank for International Settlements the funds which the Bank would advance under the French proposal to other European countries out of the unconditional payments made by Germany to France and transmitted by France to the Bank. This is in confirmation of the inquiry which I made on the telephone this morning. Please cable me urgently when you have acquired this information.
