The Minister in China (MacMurray) to the Secretary of State

377. Supplementing my telegram number 366, April 7, 8 a.m.

I learned that among other results of the raiders the police found list of 4,000 Communist agents in Peking and the seals of the local anti-British and anti-Japanese agitation committees.
Police were supported by gendarmerie instead of by troops, as stated in my previous telegram.
