Sir: With reference to my note No. 817 of December 23rd, I have the honour to inform you, on instructions from His Britannic Majesty’s Principal Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, that the Government of India desire to associate themselves with the views expressed by His Majesty’s Government in Great Britain on the reservations attached to the accession of the United States to the protocol of the statute of the Permanent Court of International Justice.38
