For Lassiter. Your telegram March 25, 3 p.m., received. I wholly approve position you took in proceedings yesterday and think that the formal record at this time is satisfactory. I shall send further suggestions, especially with regard to the resolution for the suspension of proceedings, as soon as replies have been received from Santiago and Lima, as stated in my telegram of March 25, 6 p.m.36
