The Foreign Office has accepted the Apaporis-Tabatinga line as establishing the boundary between Brazil and Colombia, and will agree to the free navigation of the Amazon and the other rivers common to both countries. This information will be officially transmitted to the Department as soon as the President gives his approval. It is requested that no announcement be made at present.
