Tariff Commission completes labors end September. Chinese propose following prefatory note to completed tariff:
“The publication of the present English version of the tariff is authorized by the Tariff Revision Commission of 1922. This tariff will come into force on the 1st December 1922.”
Does Department sanction? American delegation satisfied present revision gives China full 5 percent effective estimated increased revenues on basis last year trade $15,000,000 silver.
