Please show my Bull 5 and Bull 6 to Philip Kerr.74 I would greatly appreciate it if you would wire in time to catch me either at Stockholm or Christiania your personal view as to the possibility of acceptance of the Soviet Government’s proposal. You must do your utmost for it, for if you had seen the things I have seen during the past week and talked with the men I have talked with, I know that you would not rest until you had put through this peace.
