The British Ambassador ( Spring Rice) to the Secretary of State
His Britannic Majesty’s Ambassador presents his compliments to the Secretary of State of the United States and has the honour to transmit herewith a copy of the volume of Statistics of Imports into Scandinavia and the Netherlands for May, 1917, compiled by the War Trade Statistical Department of His Majesty’s Government.1
This volume, besides statistics of actual imports, contains lists of the “rations” at present in force for each country.
