Sir: Supplementing my dispatch No. 36 of the 7th ultimo,¹ in re-regard to the International Commission to inquire into the opium question in the Far East, I have the honor herewith to report that Mr. A. A. de Jongh, inspector in chief, and Mr. W. G. van Wettum, substitute inspector of the administration of opium duties in the Netherlands Indies, have been appointed delegates of this country to take part in said commission.
