Sir: I have to acknowledge the receipt of your dispatch No. 51 of the 9th instant, reporting your negotiations with the Honduranean Government in the matter of the restoration of the exequaturs of the American consul and vice consul at Ceiba, and inclosing newspaper clippings containing the text of the official decree annulling the cancellations of the exequaturs.

In reply I have to inform you that the department commends your treatment of this question.
