Sir: Referring to my No. 130, in regard to John Ginzberg, I now have to say that I am informed by a note from Mr. Chichkine that the foreign office has been informed by the ministry of justice that the necessary steps have been taken to hasten the progress of his case.

The appeal to the minister of the interior to dismiss the case is still pending.
