Mr. Matus to Mr. Guzman.
[Telegram—Translation—Handed to the
Secretary of State by the Nicaraguan minister, April 23,
1895.]
Managua, April 22,
1895.

We have asked Lord Kimberley by cable to await the instructions sent to our representative in London for an amicable settlement of the difficulty. We are expecting his reply. Request the Government of the United States to aid Nicaragua in obtaining that.
