III. Decision and award
[34] Made by the tribunal of arbitration constituted by virtue of the first article of the treaty concluded at Washington the 8th of May, 1871, between the United States of America and Her Majesty the Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
Made and concluded at the Hotel de Ville of
Geneva, in Switzerland, the 14th day of the month of
September, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-two.
