[410] In addition to my note of this day’s date, I have the honor of informing you that through the navy department the most positive orders have been trans*mitted to all the authorities dependent on the said department, in the sense of your note addressed to me under date of the 14th instant, and that probably a man-of-war will start for the Azores to aid the aforesaid authorities.
I avail of this opportunity to renew the assurances of my most distinguished consideration.
