Sir: I have to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch of the 5th instant, No. 235, relating to a recent interview between yourself and Mr. Drouyn de Lhuys upon the subject of levying of troops in Egypt to re-enforce the French army in Mexico. The views expressed by you on that occasion are approved.
