Sir: Your despatch of June 8, without number, and your two subsequent ones Nos. 346 and 347, dated the 16th and 18th of June, respectively, have been received. The address which accompanied your No. 346, and which was delivered to you by a special committee, delegated by an association for the improvement of the working classes of Lisbon, together with your interesting acknowledgment in reply, will be carefully preserved in the archives of the department.
