Editorial Note

On February 2, 1952, representatives of the Governments of the United States and Pakistan signed an agreement in Karachi, supplementing the original Point Four Agreement of February 9, 1951, increasing the United States contribution to the technical and economic development of Pakistan under the Point Four Program. The agreement was transmitted to the Department of State as an enclosure to Karachi despatch 1031, February 13, 1952. (890D.00 TA/2–1352) An agreement listing the specific projects to be covered by the supplementary agreement was signed in New York on June 30, 1952.
