24629. 1. Hq. desires firm list top flight Communists whom new government would desire to eliminate immediately in event of successful anti-Communist coup.2

In a January 29 response the Chief of Station suggested additional names and noted: “Cannot say all on list are commies but their leanings are such that considered dangerous our interests. … Minimum action of arrest and deportation all on [text not declassified] list should be a new government’s desire.
