Editorial Note

The meeting of the third regular session of the General Assembly, second part, took place at New York, April 5 to May 18, 1949. This meeting is not treated as such in Foreign Relations as the Assembly and its committees continued under the same organization as that established for the Paris meeting of the first part of the third session in 1948.
