2106. Foreign Minister Wang Shih-chieh informs us Cabinet, under urgent plea from Generalissimo,33 has agreed remain in power few more days. There are afoot in high Government circles plans for “radical” measures in desperate effort improve situation. Cabinet is remaining in power pending final decision this problem.
