1334. Air Nanking is full of rumors as to ways and means of persuading Generalissimo to change his way or to make his regime more effective (Shanghai’s 1627, July 20, repeated Nanking 1316¹²). No one in Embassy has urged Generalissimo to retire in favor Regency as suggested Shanghai’s telegram.
