Excellency: I have the honor to transmit herewith two copies each of Statements LL–11 and LL–12 and supporting schedules6 reporting charges made against the Government of Honduras during the period from September 1, 1946 through December 31, 1946 for defense material transferred under the terms of the Lend-Lease Agreement of February 28, 1942.7

It will be noted that charges during the period under reference were counterbalanced by credits to a net sum of $8,779.62 (credit), and that charges through December 31, 1946 aggregate the grand total of $367,118.17. Of this amount a total reimbursement of $34,000 is due from Your Excellency’s Government under the terms of the Agreement. Since payments in the amount of $33,000 have been received, however, the balance outstanding is $1,000.

It is requested that the enclosed statement and supporting schedules be treated by Your Excellency’s Government on a most confidential basis.
