President Grau late this afternoon informed me that energetic measures are being taken to suffocate revolutionary activity based on [Page 648] Cuban soil and directed against Dominican Republic which has been subject recent telegrams. He further declared public statement this effect will be issued and subsequent ones as situation warrants.
