Insert the following in the financial clauses of the Peace Treaty with Italy:

Article … “Italy shall undertake to pay in gold to the Bank of Greece within three months of the coming into force of the present Treaty the sum of 64,800,000 dollars (1938 value), to which the advances [Page 706] made by the Bank of Greece to the Italian occupation authorities amount, in addition to the occupation expenses borne by Greece under the agreement of March 14, 1942, between the German and Italian Governments, and all subsequent modifications thereto.”
