1028. Drumright reports from Sian in telegram June 10 he is informed that, evidently in connection with general withdrawal of Russian military advisers, those to 8th War Area, Sian, were departing that day for Russia. In despatch June 7 Penfield in Chengtu states 6 Soviet military aviation advisers left there June 6 en route to Russia on expiration of contracts.
