Memorandum From the Embassy of the Soviet Union27

The magazine28 is planned to be issued once a month on approximately 64 pages. There will be a subscription rate for it. The circulation [Page 999] and price of a single copy of the magazine has not yet been determined.

The general character of the magazine—social-political and literary-artistic. The following material will be published in the magazine:

1.
Articles on international situation and foreign policy.
2.
Articles on industry, agriculture and state structure of the U. S. S. R.
3.
Information on science, art and sports in the Soviet Union.
4.
Stories on life in the Soviet Union.

It is proposed that the magazine will be illustrated. It is also proposed that it will be published in New York where the editorial office will be located.
