A–118. With reference to the Embassy’s telegram No. 755, January 27, Hildred19 emphasized today to a member of the Embassy staff the purely technical aspect of this meeting; its restriction to radio and other operational aids to flying, and said he hoped, when the discussion with the Dominions was completed, to send a mission to the United States to discuss these subjects with their opposite numbers. He said he hoped this could be done before Lord Beaverbrook’s discussions (with the United States) started.
