Memorandum of Conversation, by the Under Secretary of State (Stettinius)
[Washington,] December 13, 1943.
Lord Halifax15a called to see me today. He referred to the conversation I had had with him about two weeks ago relative to post-war civil aviation. He said the British now feel the sooner his people and our people can have private conversations relative to this matter, the better. In this connection he mentioned having the conversations in London. I made no comment.
