- Learn from reliable source that Japs moved the CN” dollars 311 million of Chinese currency held for Board by appointed and approved banks in Shanghai to vaults of Yokohama Specie Bank in [Page 418] Shanghai and that they have since used this currency for transactions in occupied China.

- It is unofficially reported that Dr. Kung, who is at present in Chengtu, informed representatives of foreign missionary and philanthropic organizations in Chengtu that he was willing to give them the official rate plus 50% for their foreign exchange remittances. [Adler.]
