546. Please deliver paraphrase of following to Mr. H. D. Hump-stone, West India Oil Company, Santiago:
“We have been instructed by the State Department to cease immediately all deliveries of gasoline and oil to Syndicate Condor in Chile. The Chilean Government has been notified of this step by the Embassy. You are instructed to comply at once and notify customer the action you are taking is based on instructions issued by the Government of the United States. Signed G. H. Michler.”42
