277. My 275.77 With regard to Prince Paul’s meeting with Hitler at Berchtesgaden on March 4 or 5 (not 11) I am informed by reliable source that Hitler said to Prince during 2-hour interview Yugoslavia must sign Tripartite Pact in own interest as in June or July he was going to attack Russia.
British Minister says foregoing fits in with information he has.
