127. Please inform the Saudi Arabian Government through the appropriate channel that your Government today protested to the Italian Government through the Italian Ambassador in Washington the bombings by Italian aircraft in the night of October 18, 1940, of the property of the California Arabian Standard Oil Company at Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia.

You should add in your communication to the Saudi Arabian Government that your Government would appreciate being informed of the attitude which the Saudi Arabian Government may take or has taken concerning this violation of its neutral rights.

Repeat to Baghdad for its information.
