No Swiss exit visas or Italian entrance and exit visas required for American citizens. Through car rail connections between Zurich and Genoa re-established yesterday via Saint Gotthard. Convenient connections also between Bern, Geneva, Lausanne and [Page 101] Genoa via Simplon with single change at Milan. Duration of journey Bern Genoa 9½ hours.
