My telegram No. 144, July 29, 4 p.m. There has been no relaxation of radio embargo and North China Radio Importers Association [Page 40] requests that further representations be made, particularly concerning wireless equipment already arrived at or en route to Tientsin, embargo on which is causing local dealers serious losses.
Total annual Tientsin imports of radio receivers and parts are estimated at over 1,000,000 Tientsin dollars, of which over 80 per cent are of American manufacture.
