17. A letter from the office of General Queipo de Llano36 has been received this morning which in translation reads as follows:
“The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the National Government in Burgos has requested me to inform you that in order to discuss various questions an interview with the chiefs of that Ministry would be convenient. [Page 171] He desires that the interview take place in Burgos and that he be informed of the date of your arrival in that capital.
In communicating the foregoing it is requested that you indicate to me for communication to the mentioned authority when you shall make the trip.”
Will the Department inform me what answer should be made to this communication?
