307. Your 536, November 12, 8 p.m. The Counselor of the Japanese Embassy has made to the Department an oral statement of the views of the Japanese Government in regard to the Alaska fisheries situation. A memorandum of the conversation which took place will be forwarded in an early mail.69
The Department expects shortly to forward to the Embassy for presentation to the Foreign Office a comprehensive memorandum on the salmon fishery situation.
