Our 209, May 18, 10 a.m. An officer of the Embassy has been informed by the French Ambassador that an agreement for a loan of Chinese dollars 24,500,000 for the construction of the Chengtu-Chungking Railway was recently signed in Paris between the Banque Franco-Chinoise and Chinese representatives acting for the Ministry of Railways and the China Development Finance Corporation.
