Wilson cables from Geneva that the League Secretariat is planning to call a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Leticia on [Page 334] April 12, and states in this connection that the Secretariat seems to be ignorant of the course of the negotiations at Rio de Janeiro. Unless you perceive objection, please suggest discreetly to the Brazilian Government the desirability of their acquainting their representative on the Advisory Committee fully as to the course of these negotiations, so that the Committee itself may have the benefit of this information in their discussions.
